Derek Stockley provides a wide range of leadership and management development training options, see Leadership/Management Training Options. These programs are often short courses, either conducted inhouse or as a public leadership program (one day). However, some individuals and organisations prefer to pursue a more extensive program leading to a formal qualification. The BSB41004 Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) and BSB51004 Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) are popular because of their direct and practical approach for team leaders, coordinators, supervisors or managers operating at the front line. Both programs arose as a result of a comprehensive review of management education and development in Australia. The program content relates directly to competencies required by business in the workplace. BSB51004 Diploma of Business (Frontline Management)This program is suitable for people responsible for making policy and production decisions and who have considerable autonomy. Participants have significant management responsibilities. BSB41004 Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management)This program is suitable for people with supervisory responsibilities or people with autonomous technical expertise. The emphasis is on team leadersip and supervision. Business (Frontline Management)The programs are primarily conducted by online courseware (also called computer based training, e-learning, elearning), with contact though email, by telephone and online meeting systems. Experienced facilitators guide your progress. Regular contact is a feature and each stage of the program commences with a facilitated session that ensures the program is relevant to your needs. Competency based programs are very practical. Participants have to apply their learning in the workplace as part of the assessment process. Consequently, individuals and organisations start to reap the benefits of the training almost immediately. Participants and their managers will realise the difference the program makes. |
