Derek Stockley provides specific training in time management and personal effectiveness; communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills. The training can be for small and large business, companies, government and organisations. The emphasis can be on the theory or practical aspects, or a combination of both.

Each topic is related to the other. Although presented as individual topics, these and other similar topics can be combined in a general or management development program.

Introduction to general training topics

Negotiation skills training - in-house and public programs

Negotiating effectively

Typical programs are half, one or two day courses. If appropriate, some may have a blended learning design, combining "training room" learning with other activities.

A public half day course is available, see: negotiation program.

Participants typically hold professional, project, administrative, marketing and/or team leader/management positions that require regular negotiating.

Negotiation topics can include:

Negotiation concepts
Steps in negotiating
Negotiation techniques and strategies

Please note: the topics and contents listed here are very broad. They give you an indication of the breadth and depth of the negotiation training course area.

The actual training program delivered will be based on individual and organisation needs determined during the design process.

Each program relates to the needs of the group. A heavy emphasis is placed on activities and exercises designed to develop and refine skills.

These programs help staff in their business dealings, increasing the likelihood of successful negotiating outcomes.
