How does this training service work?
There are two options.
"On-the-job" Training/Coaching session
In some cases, an informal "on-the-job" training session can be organised, particularly in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
This training is on a specific topic related to a specific need.
This method can be very cost effective for two, three or four people. This is because the training/coaching is directly related to actual needs.
For example, two marketing staff recently required assistance to improve their sales presentations. The staff used the PowerPoint presentation software.
The half day session covered general presentation techniques and design improvements to an actual presentation. Both staff also did mini-presentations (filmed) and received feedback on public speaking aspects as well as their interaction/use of the PowerPoint presentation and equipment.
The training thus covered topics typically found in a one day Public Speaking/Presentations course as well as a one/two day basic/advanced PowerPoint course. As they already had existing skills, they did not have to "revise" material that they already knew - a major time/cost saving.
The specific topic can be drawn from the topic areas listed below.

Combining different groups
Individuals and organisations "register" (see below). When a small group with a similar need, normally five or more people, have registered, contact is made and the program is organised.
Registration is on a no obligation basis, but it is essential. If you do not register, your training need is not known. Currently, there are many people with unsatisfied needs looking for training solutions. This service is designed to help.
How much do the programs cost?
In Australia, public courses normally cost between $300 and $600 (Australian) per day. The "on-demand" course will cost the same or less, particularly if one participant can provide a suitable venue for the group. (Yes - providing the venue entitles that participant, or their organisation, to a reduced fee!)
What are the advantages?
Participant needs are individually assessed, either through questionnaires or email/telephone. Participant needs are known prior to the course starting. Different information/learning needs can be met by a design incorporating blended learning.
The course fee is not bloated by expensive marketing costs. The focus is on a well planned and executed program designed to meet participant needs.
What are the disadvantages?
Some people like larger numbers for the opportunity to share experiences.
However, this is compensated by the opportunity to not only share experiences, but also "work on" real life problems and solutions directly related to real needs.
