Introduction |
Need for advanced trainingOften an organisation’s success depends on the business generated from sales and marketing presentations to clients or company boards. Certainly, a senior manager’s reputation and standing can be significantly enhanced through the ability to deliver effective presentations and speeches. These days, effective communication and public speaking skills are vital. Participants typically hold senior positions that require them to speak or present to small and/or large groups. This is an advanced program, designed for those with some speaking and presentations experience. The focus is on enhancing existing skills so that every presentation achieves the objectives set, whether they are to inform, persuade or "make the sale". The program covers: Advanced public speaking skills/approaches
However, the course design allows participants to specialise or focus on particular topic areas. For example, some participants may wish to focus on all aspects related to public speaking skills. If your time is a critical resource, then this program is designed for you. |
Advanced presentation topics Focus on effective public speaking and presentations |
Practical focussed trainingA variety of approaches are used to meet training needs. A unique feature of this program is personal contact with Derek Stockley prior to the training day as well as afterwards. Derek will ask you about your experience. He will talk to you about the presentations you have made in the past and the presentations you expect to make in the future. If you use Microsoft PowerPoint, and you agree (confidentiality assured), Derek will personally review your existing presentation format and structure. The training program includes the intensive one day course, as well as pre and post course liaison as required. The training group is limited to a maximum of six participants. The training includes group work and individual coaching. If you use technology, you are invited to bring your own laptop computer to work on improving existing presentations or to create new ones. You can expect to be able to make presentations that are interesting and effective. You will feel confident and positive. Each presentation should be a challenge but not a traumatic experience. |

Further informationIf you wish to nominate for the advanced presentation skills training program, please register at Advanced Presentation Skills Registration. If you have a question about the public program, or would like to talk to Derek Stockley personally, call him direct on 0402 547 332 (within Australia). If the available dates are not suitable, or you would prefer more specialised training, individuals or groups of four or less can register their interest or learn more about the on-demand service at: On-demand Service Explanation or register directly at On-demand Training Registration. Examples of the type of solutions possible are shown at: Presentation Training/Coaching Examples. Companies and other organisations with five or more to be trained can request further information and a quotation through the in-house training request page or learn more about inhouse training at: in-house training explanation. * Depending on your location, if you have three or more participants from the one organisation, an on-demand program or inhouse training can be very cost effective. The investment per person is reduced and you gain the maximum benefit from a shorter time commitment. Participants feel that they have covered the equivalent of a two day course in half the time. And the 'relevancy' factor is very high, as the pre-course liaison ensures that every topic covered is relevant to participant needs.
